Raining and storming again
« on: May 15, 2015, 08:38:31 am »
Shut off the water works enough already.  We have had 10 inches of rain since first of may and we are getting hammered again this morning.  Not good when you have queens scheduled to go on mating flights

More rain predicted for today too, rat!  I was up to my ankles in wet soggy stuff checking the backyard bees yesterday afternoon!  I am still feeding.  It's hard for a bee to forage when it won't quit raining!

It's raining here today (yea!)  In April we had 6.85 inches of rain.  In the 15 days of May before today, we've had 0.12 inches of rain.  It seems like it's either feast or famine around here.  So far today, we've had 0.31 inches of rain.

Maybe God is shedding tears over the brave lost rescue soldiers whose helicopter went down in Nepal.  If so, expect a lot more rain, Their deaths are a terrible loss to the world of good.  :'( :'(

Jeepers!  We really had some storm roll through last night.  The husband had just finished cutting the grass.  Yeah! (Those that have read the thread I posted about my little white lie I told about my bees)
In May, this area has had 2 days with out rain fall.  That's 2 out of 17.
