I found my soul mate 57 years ago and married her on June 5, 1959. She and i were first born in our family, she has a sister and two brothers, i have 3 brothers,both came from solid family background (except some of my Irish blood ;)) you would think our family's were one big family. Not many family's can say that anymore? She woke me up with a kiss and said Happy 56th  Anniversary, i told her not yet, i was a free man till 7:00pm tonight. :laugh: Going to Red Lobster tonight. 8) Jack

Big Congrats Jack!  :eusa_clap:  I have my soul mate as well, 40 years this year. Have a wonderful day, don't forget the love pats on her bottom, some ladies say they don't like that.... but really... we do  ;)

Congratulations on such an occasion. Maybe spring for something nice for the poor woman, get her something of value, like, maybe some nice new bee gear! ;D

 Congratulations brooksbeefarm, not many can say that long, first marred in 62, wife died of cancer, than second died of cancer, sure hope this one stays healthy for she is the best of the three and I mean the best.

I was just sitting down to a meal.  This was a beef we had killed a few weeks ago.  Dad ran her in with a few heifers he was feeding this winter.  I saw this post and wondered who else was eating number 56.  I knew mom had given several people some meat but was she famous already?  Late congrats to the anniversary, the longer I am married the more amazed at the people who have stood by each other that long.

I can stand still longer now than i use to over the years, there has been alot of ducking, running and sig sagging over the years. Things have been great after i declared  myself King and our home is my Castle :eusa_dance:. Jack
