Question on feeding.
« on: June 08, 2015, 11:45:06 am »
Should I still feed a growing hive, which still has 3 frames of undrawn comb, until all frames are drawn even if there is a flow?

Swap frames 1 and 10 if undrawn with frames 2 and 9 and add another box on top ( is this a new hive?) if so i would feed until they quit taking it. Jack

Feed until they quit taking it.  It will take feeding or a strong nectar flow to get them to draw out those frames with comb.

Feed if they'll take it, but stop once you start using honey supers of course.

I feed until they have 2 deeps drawn out and have a little weight to them

what jack said mosti....it works!

where are the undrawn frames? move them in  (don't separate brood though), and keep feeding as has already been said by all, until drawn or quit taking it.
