I recently began a disastrous visit to a hive unable to get my smoker going. In my haste I quickly deduced that when I pumped the bellows more air was coming out of the sides of it than the hole. While that wasn't entirely untrue, I shake my head as I tell you why the smoker REALLY wasn't working. Before I do, though, I will tell you that I truly am incredible at troubleshooting. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and a bit overwhelmed with how I was going to do what I wanted/needed to do, I skipped the very first steps!
Please learn from my experience and don't make the frustrating mistake that I did: If your smoker worked last time and now suddenly doesn't (assuming there's not a new rip in it), check the hole in the smoker! Yes, the leg of my fuel shelf was blocking the hole in the smoker.
And that's all I have to say about that.
