Hello from Yarmouth, NS
«

Hi folks,
I'm Adam and we're just outside of Yarmouth, NS. We have two hives that were started with nucs from Perry. Both overwintered well and now I'm trying to learn as much about management as I can. I've been lurking around off and on for about a year under a different screen name but want to jump in more fully (and get my name in line with our website).
If you want to see some more of what we have going on here you can check out our site at
http://wellingtonfarm.ca
or if you want to see some of my photography work you can check out
http://adamgrahamphoto.com
.
Here are some pictures we grabbed during an inspection last summer.

Welcome "officially" then! As you've been lurking, I'm sure you know this is the place to bee.
I am a little jealous as I hope to meet the great Perry someday...

Glad to see you back. Was wondering where you were. You hadn't been on since Feb. and had me worried.

Nice looking bees!
Now that we know your wife doesn't use gloves, how about you Adam?

Thanks for the welcome!
Zweefer, you should try to meet the great Perry sometime. He's eight feet tall and can lift 10 deeps full of honey in one hand. It's pretty impressive.
And Perry, nope, I don't wear gloves either. We wore them for the install but found them too cumbersome to do anything.

Hi Adam
Folks in case you don't know, Adam showed up at BOTH public meetings when I was trying to get the anti-beekeeping bylaw overturned in my small town. That was a couple of years ago, Adam subsequently moved to Wellington, just outside Yarmouth and we both became beekeepers a year ago, both got nucs from the wise and wonderful Perry. I think he's closer to 9 feet tall
