My first hives

Here is a picture of my brood chambers for my first two hives and the bottom boards.Box joints were a little of a tricky to make but I overcame. It's all about setting your jig right and always respecting the reference sides.

I hope you haven't put the boxes together with gule and nails yet for you got to cut a spot for the frames to sit down in the hive. Nice boxes though

If you've got a table saw, think about getting one of those molding head cutters. I got mine from Corob Cutters in the USA.

Check out this thread and in particular the later posts dealing with the cutters.

"Why is my picture upsidedown I even turned it and reuploaded. I should probably be doing this from a computer instead of a phone."

hi dmartin, i am the picture flipper......... :D  (fixed your pic  ;))
here's what you did, you had your smart phone held horizontally but quite possibly upside down? any photos uploaded from a smart phone that are taken horizontally and the smart phone is held 'upside down', or any photos taken vertically from a smart phone and uploaded directly, i will have to reorient this.

please see this post:

Smart Phone Pictures and Videos

anything i can help with, let me know!

btw, great lookin' boxes!
