........that we went to all that trouble putting in raised beds so that we could apparently accommodate Copper. The only saving grace (for her) is that the garlic had already come out and the spot was empty anyways.

Well that's where I would want to be if I were a dog in a backyard with nice warm soil to nestle into. The last pic is so cozy looking. She sure is a pretty girl!

She looks comfortable, Perry. Is she a greyhound? We use raised beds in our garden and my coonhounds love them, much to the wife's chagrin!

Hey Neillsayers, I know of some people who make one extra of the raised beds just for the dogs
Seems once the dogs have dug their own spot, they don't bother the garden ~

Thanks Jen,
She builds chicken wire hoops supported by PVC pipe. They double as mini greenhouses in cool weather. Also work as "chicken tractors". That, along with a lot of fussing seems to slow them down.

Yup, a "retired" grey.

I really don't mean to be insulting, but looking at the patterns of her hair, if she were much larger she could be confused for a zebra.

I noticed that as well Ef, her markings are very distinct for a brindle. I liken it to caramel, fudge swirl ice cream
