Welcome! Braves fan here! Played baseball with Chipper Jones in fla. when a kid. I was better! lol
I never missed a Braves game for a long time. I remember Milo Hamilton calling Hank's home run. I saw the first triple play in Fulton County Stadium (I think it was 1968 or 69) against the Cubs (pre Harry Carry [Holy Cow!]). I went to see several games back when Phil Niekro, Bob Horner, Dale Murphy, Chris Chambliss, Gene Garber, Rick Camp (who died last April) and Bruce Benedict (who Tommy Lasorda said was so slow, he'd come in third in a race with a pregnant woman). Those were the days.
I lost interest when they started playing the AL during the season. They look disgusting now, with their pants down to their shoes and tattoos and rapper hats. It's just not like it used to be.
