Good work Perry!  How much money does one save doing 800 yourself, just curious?

Dang Perry, it makes me tired just thinking of the work that you perform.  Congratulations on a job well done.  Aside from saving a few bucks, it is a learning experience, and no one can learn too much about their business, even the most rudimentary, fundamental aspects of the business.  Again, good on you!

I think you are getting closer and closer to cutting out your own frames from scratch.

Now Jack is going to tell you to start saving all of those plastic milk jugs for foundation!

The only part that baffles me is how to make the removable wedge for the frames. Any suggestions?

A local supplier here dado's the area out and cuts separate wedges to go in. Much simpler, and works well. Even makes assembly easier.

You want a thin kerf blade to cut the break away wedge. we did this by buying a Brico thin kerf 7 1/4" saw blade and then using a diamond grinder to to grind all the set of the sides of the teeth so the teeth were the same width as the blade body. Because you will only be cutting 3/8" deep, the set is not important for keeping the blade from binding. We ran them through a shaper with a power feed Just set the power feed at the same speed as the slot machine, just took one more person before bundling them

Mow comes the more time consuming job of assembling them.

Thanks Idee and Apis,

Sounds simpler, for sure. I figured they have a knife that cuts them in the mill.
