We have a local band Cod Gone Wild The lead singer is a displaced Newfoundlander and they cover a lot of the traditional Celtic music And has written some of their own.

Thanks a lot Lazy, that song woke up my grandpa Haynes blood in me and i broke out the bottle of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey. It was a cloudy rainy day and after playing the song 4 or 5 times with grandpa's shot glass in hand, it turned out to be a beautiful day. :D Jack

This song is as far as I've gotten to learning my Irish heritage, it played for years in the small alpine town I grew up in, so we heard it
on every radio available, our car, our house, the stores down town.
