I was talking about forums in general, not this forum specifically.

It's on all forums between smart phones and tablets and their small keys and our fat fingers, The auto correct and auto complete. and the hassle it is to move the cursor back so a correction can be made is not easy on some devices. The next problem is even when you use spell check the number of words that are not in your computers dictionary especially ones specific to the forums topic. to add these to a new computer instillation I cut and copy the Beekeeping Glossary into a post and go through and right click on all the highlighted words and add them to my computer dictionary.
It is a good reminder that others are reading this and trying to decipher what we have typed. Some with English as a 2nd language. and also new beekeepers or interested persons that don't have a clue when we use shortened terms AFB, AHB, EFB, SHB, WWBF. Once it has been established on a thread that it is about African Honey Bees After that using the shortened AHB is fine in posts.

Apis--dyslexia, shmyslexia.   Who cares how you spell.  You write it the way it sounds and your answers, no matter how they are spelled, are always clear and understandable.   :occasion14:

Just got a Facebook post from my niece.  Can't figure out how to post it here but it's about the funniest thing I've seen in a while.  Google "Thug Life dogs with fireworks" and you should be able to find the YouTube video, "Well that escalated quickly (dog with fireworks) Vine"  Maybe one of you tec savy folks could do a better job of letting folks know where it is--hilarious

Yep, thanks Apis!  About the funniest thing I'd seen in a while.  Not a good trick to teach a dog :o  We had a dachshund many years ago and he had the same level of bravado--sure miss him.
