Don't Know What to do for my bees? don't have time to move them! should I remove all robbing screens and entrance reducers so they can get out?

Evac prep quiet at the moment. News says firefighters are moving the fire west up into the hills and away from town. Sounds like world war ll around here. Phew! for the time bein' anyway.

Fire is only 5% contained but fire fighters pushed the fire north west away from town. It's 3 miles away, but that's better than 1 mile away.Very little smoke today. We are fortunate that Calif doesn't have a lot of big fires this year so far (crossing fingers), the bomber and tanker planes were called in from Sacramento, 280 miles away, they were here in an hours time. It was like WWll around here. Just awesome watching those big planes maneuver around each other in the sky. Some people have lost their houses but no lost lives. So grateful and humble.

Jen I hope the fire continues to head away from you. The drought you have had to deal with and the fire situation has to be stressful. I knew I was getting some interference with your normal smoke signals

Hi Dunkel, the fire is now 85% contained so just a few ground workers now. Smoke signal ought to be reading loud and clear now

We were very lucky to get the big bomber planes in within a couple hours.
