Do it in Wolfville
« on: October 20, 2016, 05:07:08 pm »
Just a plug for the beautiful town we live in. This young fellow has been a tireless promoter of the town and has come out with a bunch of cool videos showing the life we are fortunate enough to have here. You have to click on the music button to listen.

I love the town and would love to live there except for the snow you people get.

While I was in the US during the summer, I had hopes of making a surprise visit to Wolfville to meet and spend some time with Perry (not unannounced, I would have called first and given him warning).  To my great sorrow, it just didn't work out.  Even all the enticing publicity for Wolfville doesn't make me feel as sorry for not getting there as not meeting Perry.   :\'(

Ef, that would have been fantastic! :)
With good fortune another opportunity will present itself and we will get the chance.

An open invite to any forum member that happens to find themselves anywhere near to us here in Nova Scotia to please drop in and say hello. Should you decide to stay a spell I will do my best to show you around to all the amazing things that are here.

Contentment in the locale where you live is priceless.  People are what make it in many cases.  Knowing Perry, I expect he makes his own luck and finds the best in everyone he meets.   :)

I'm at the age where "doing it anywhere" is special.  :):)  Wolfville looks like a  fantastic place.  I am thinking of doing some internet shopping there.  Casa Bella is especially intriguing.

I do not have a passport...   I do not think it used to be necessary, but believe it is now??   Sometime this winter I will be headed for Maine. It has crossed my mind many times that I needed to go NORTH to hang out with Perry just to shoot the bull for a day and see that honey house in person... AND meet the woman that puts up with him...   Getting to pet Penny would be a bonus!

I have never visited Canada but this makes me want to. If I ever have the opportunity, I'll be trying to fit a stop to Perry's in my itinerary. :)

I am adding Wolfville to my bucket list!  I was in Nova Scotia 50 years ago and loved it then, would love to share it with Ken.
