Sidewalk Plow

Wolfville has a couple of sidewalk plows. This guy had his work cut out for him this morning. We are supposed get another 6" to a foot tonight.

Wow.  I guess if you live with snow, you invent lots of snow tools.

WOW, your town actually invested in that?  Here they tell us we have to go out and shovel the sidewalks, and we just ignore them!

We get fined if sidewalks haven't been cleared within 24 hours of last snowfall. Another in the long list of reasons we moved to the country.

Many of the towns up here have those sidewalk plows. They can have a blade out front, or if the snow is deep they have a blower attachment, and they also have a salt hopper on the back that drizzles salt as they go along. Most of the places I lived in out west, you were responsible for the sidewalks on your property, but there are many seniors that just can't do them so here the town's mostly assume the task.
