Big Pest In Hospital
« on: March 27, 2017, 08:13:45 pm »
Our biggest and most beloved pest, IDDEE (Wally) is in the hospital for a couple days for a heart procedure.  Yes, he actually has a heart!!!!  Believe it or not!

He's asked to keep him busy with all kinds of bee related questions!   Keep him in your prayers and with your questions.

Has anyone heard how he's doing?

He came home today and has to go back on Tuesday for another procedure.   Let's keep him in our prayers.   He may be very opinionated when it comes to politics and we may not all agree with him on his views.   But we can all agree he does have a big heart and is very generous to others.  We all owe a great debt of gratitude to him for this great place he created.   He has personally helped many of us here with his knowledge and desire to help others.

Been calling and talking with Wally every day.  He got home today about 3 PM and has two new stents for his heart.  Goes back next week for another one.   He said he feels better than he has in weeks but right now, breathing is difficult.  He's anxious to get out and get some swarms! I'll try to catch one and bring it to his house for him to inspect.

If he's still feeling puny, just take the swarm back to his bedroom.  That should cheer him up!

My thoughts and best wishes are with Iddee.

I hope the procedure is a short one. Uncomfortable memory of staring at the OR ceiling and wanting to pee.

Given the choice go for the wrist rather than the groin.

I talked with wally, for about an hour on the 16th. And he didn't say anything to me.
Our prayers also. He is the one that's got me so passionate about bees.
