Just finished planning and plotting the spring garden. Going to try some new things and new ideas on old things. So excited!
Only thing is I still have 4 weeks before I can even start my INSIDE seeds! :'(
This is my least favorite time of the year. SO impatient! Anybody else suffer from spring fever?
This year I'm growing:
Red Beans
Black Beans
Purple podded peas
yellow crook neck squash
zucchini
lemon squash (free gift from baker seeds! Yay!)
okra
lima beans
calima green beans
loufa gourds
butternut squash
sweet peppers called tequila sunrise
jalapenos
probably some poblanos
tomatoes of course - cherokee purple and amish paste (and probably a hybrid of the two as I save seeds)
cherry tomatoes - (hubby makes the BEST cherry tomato preserves -great with stinky cheeses!)
beets
Eggplant
and I'm going to try celery, celeriac and asparagus, though they aren't supposed to grow here.
