Did someone mention Blue Jays as Bee predator?
« on: May 18, 2017, 05:58:56 pm »
The Blue Jays were raising a fuss last night.  I think there may have been a cat lurking in the weeds beneath their nest.

We'd had bluejays around a couple of years ago.  Then we found a dead chick in the yard that the cat had got.  They left us alone for a while, but now they are back.  We're happy to see them.

Nugget Shooter, is that the Bee Manual your bees are reading in your avatar?  Good for you for getting them started on a good education.

LOL!  Didn't see the caption until you said it had one.

Old eyes!

At least I don't have to be jealous that you've got smarter bees than me.

WM I hate to remind you of  this, but our sweet little 10 lb dachshund killed that young bluejay.  It was just learning to fly and never got to finish his lesson.
