Bathroom break ?

It rained all day yesterday,  it's 3:00 in afternoon today expected to rain another 8 hrs. starting soon look out window and bees going crazy at one hive. Is this orientation or cleansing flight ? No fighting in front, but boy howdy they're loud.

He's bred to be a pointer/retriever. The breed is Bracco Italiano and is similar to a German Shorthair. I don't hunt, so he's a running partner and tennis ball chaser.

my guess is orientation (from your time description), two times of the day we will see this: mid morning and mid afternoon............but maybe they were tired of being cooped up from the rain!............... :D

orientation flights........if you see them flying out, doing circle flights facing the hive, just orientation and getting their gps going.
