teaching aid materials
« on: June 30, 2017, 11:11:16 pm »
I am looking for some pictures of bees doing what bees do.  I have been asked by various clubs and organizations to give bee lectures.  I have found some pics here and there on the internet that I was able to print into some semblance of quality, but I know there must be some good quality pictures that are already collated into a meaningful sequence.  (like from nurse bee to death)

If someone knows of something along this line, I would appreciate it.  I am more than willing to purchase this information from the source, if necessary.  Thanks in advance.

Mann Lake cares teaching frames sets.  They are good quality pictures that fit into frames, like foundation, that show what a healthy hive should look like.  I have seen these before and they are very nice.  They are meant to be displayed in your brood box.  https://www.mannlakeltd.com/teaching-frames-set-of-10
Mann Lakes also has this. https://www.mannlakeltd.com/teaching-frame-inserts-set-of-20
Brushy Mountain offers pretty much the same, but also have a slide show teaching frames to use in a power point presentation. http://www.brushymountainbeefarm.com/Slide-Show-Teaching-Frames/productinfo/291SS/
Hope that helps.

Lazy, our Club has a super with those teaching frames.  I'm sure you could use them.
