Karma......that's what happens when you tease someone about their misery.  Treated my hives with oxalic vapor and they were so angry.....I got nailed in the butt two times.

So... you went to treat with no pants on either Les?  DANG your brave!!
I just did a VERY quick "check" of a hive, ONE TIME wearing shorts.... and yep... BLAMO ! It was NOT in the behind. To make it worse, the wife was watching, saw me jump, heard me scream like a girl...  sigh...

I think they are getting cranky here.  I no longer check my hives "quickly" without my jacket, veil and gloves.
Need to get some carhartt pants though, especially since they are penetrating my jeans.

Hey Les, my plan is to get some beekeeper pants like these. I have a good jacket. I would melt in carharts, especially now that I'm mentoring with other hives and not knowing if I'll be in the straight sun for a couple hours. But I also don't mind a sting or two.

Jen, the question is can you wear them alone or over another pair of pants?  My hubby is so phobic about being stung, he wears sweat pants over his jeans.  He can get away with it because he never works the hives.
But he will pitch in if I need help with lifting so he only wears this get up for a short period?
