LOL Perry.. that sucks.... Your a LONG ways from me, but I'd make the trip if I had to...
I have my normal truck.. an 89 chevy 4x4... call her black betty.. has ten leafs in the rear for towing capacity I added myself.. rebuilt it, new trans etc.. painted it, and when the paint was 3 days old I was moving a pole barn. the end of one of the telephone poles fell off and bounced.. hit the side of the truck denting it.. made me sick.. but not as bad as if it had been a new 40K truck.....
last spring I bought a 94 K3500.. built a 489 for it, aluminum heads etc..., put some good dirt/mud tires on it to use to haul WOOD up out of the bottoms or the horse trailer etc... DOnt have a pic of it yet, but it's built for sticky situations...
My wife has an 04 Dodge with 35k miles on it because I WONT touch it, wont even PLOW with it, though it has a new snow plow on it... I OWN a truck to WORK with.. I dont want a 4x4 Cadilac.. a truck has rubber floor mats instead of carpet.. roll up windows instead of power. AM/FM radio with a CD player, not Blue Tooth etc.. A TRUCK, costs less than you payed for your first house, and is USED to pull friends out when they get stuck
if all that didnt work I suppose I could get the MUD truck out; hehe, sorry about the video quality.. my filmer got excited.. NO other trucks had made it through the mud pit that day, of 49 trucks only TWO made it through in that class, both were me
Next class the guy filming won as I videoed,, hit the next arrow after watching thois one to see that.
