I'm from Spencerville, Ontario... About an hour south of Ottawa...
Started with two nucs last in spring '17...
One went south on me, I ended up combining the two.
It seem pretty populous now in late March, hope they boom this spring..

Welcome Treeman. I started last Spring as well with 2 nucs. Lost 'em both. Starting almost fresh this Spring with 2 more nucs. Good forum here. I've learned a lot from these folks. I think you'll enjoy it. PappyRick

After re-thinking my previous post I feel an apology may be in order. Welcome to the forum Treeman. Could your chosen moniker hint at a any special affinity you have for catching swarms? I don't know what the situation is in Ontario, but catching swarms is one of my favorite activities as a beekeeper. Besides, they're free.

riverdance.......i have done plenty of 'river dancing'.........just trying to stay upright in the water without falling in and filling up my waders........
