so i thought i might share with the southerners or others not experiencing our snow fall a couple pix....

Well I must say you have larger ice crystals than we have.

Or maybe just smaller jeeps.

Either way, it looks cold.

i was shoveling snow off the deck, the jeep is a matchbox replica of a 1999 jeep wrangler, looks similar to what i drive.

mr. river came home to find me photographing this and says to me:

"hmmm, do you need a really stiff cold beverage or a trip to a doctor's office?"

Your snowbank picture tickled my memory and a story from Alaska. One of my coworkers was retiring from the Air Force. His last duty station was with us in Alaska. We asked him where he would settle after moving back to the 'Lower 48'...He answered, "I'm strapping a snow shovel on the grill of my pickup and driving South until someone asks me what it is".

and as i remember, learned to lean into the wind and still doing it in texas?!...........
