Trying to get home ready first. Went to strap down hives and got rained out. Start again tomorrow. They say this may be a one in a lifetime event for us.

Water normally isn't a problem here in the sandhills. Our problem is that most trees are loblolly or long leaf pines which don't have a large rootball and the ground is already saturated,  won't take much before they start falling. That means power lines everywhere.  When hugo hit In '89 a cat 3 storm, we did have power for 18 days.
