I'm not sure if I'm in the right category with this.
In January, I went to photo and measure a bee bole. Here are some of my results.


The bee bole is in the SE facing gable wall of a building called the "Tithe Barn". The building was probably built in the 1600s and is not a true tithe barn, more like a mixed use farm building (no human occupancy). The bole has been infilled and rendered. The wall is 3' thick and the interior face is not accessible. A 1990s photo shows the cavity filled with mortared bricks.
