Social Media posting
« on: February 17, 2020, 10:08:31 am »
Someone posted this timely picture on a local neighborhood app called Nextdoor.

Boy, did it start a discussion!  It became obvious that the general public is not informed on the dangers of herbicides, pesticides, sterile lawns, and honey bees.  Everyone seemed to understand the importance of honey bees, but didn't realize they are unintentionally part of the problem.  Of course, I saw this as an excellent opportunity to educate.

So many people were afraid of their HOA and offending their neighbors!  My response was to educate them about what you are doing and why.

Please feel free to copy this picture and post it on social media.

Jen, Home Owners Association. Also known as a deed restricted community. Can be a good thing to keep property values up, ie; can't have junk cars in front yard or paint your house like a kaleidoscope. Can also be kinda of overbearing when ruled by a tyranical, selp important few with nothing to do but ride around looking for miniscule violations.
