Base needed for an extractor
« on: July 07, 2020, 07:17:43 pm »
My new extractor arrived today.  It's a 4 frame electric model with 3 legs.  I would like to mount the extractor legs on some type of base to keep it from walking around.  As it is, the weight of the extractor is about all I can lift when empty.  So, something too heavy will be more than I can handle.  I also need to be able to take it through a doorway.  I was thinking of a sheet of plywood, cut to size, with locking wheels mounted on the bottom.  Any thoughts?

This is what I have on mine as well...

I don’t really have issues with it walking, but if I did I have the option to add weight to the plywood.  I don’t have wheels on mine, as a hand cart works just fine for the shop it lives in...
