Any one make Hungarian Easter Cheese?
« on: March 20, 2021, 10:10:20 am »
I think sometimes it is referred to as sweet cheese.
If you do, any words of advice or tips?
My husband has just finished his throat cancer treatments but still isn't able to eat solids.  We have milk and eggs that are about to expire and I thought this looked like a way to preserve them a little longer.  The recipe I have calls for these ingredients:
Easter Cheese
12 eggs
11/2 Qt milk
4 tablespoons honey
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg

If desired, you can add raisins or chopped pecans.
