I know, right! It's just a shirt, but I'm like fired up about it!

They look great, Zweef!

Well, the training / education continues.   Today’s lesson is sublimation.   Potential oops as I almost forgot to mirror the image. If I pressed this, it would be backwards.   Fixed it and will be ready to go soon…

Whelp. It’s a learning experience.   I put too much pressure on the press…

You can see both where the press and paper were.

Print was beautiful though!

I guess I’ll have to keep trying till I get it dialed in.

Oh man, that's going to be great!  Hey, how are you supposed to learn other than trying?

Can I make a suggestion?  It may just be the camera angle, but I think that design looks a little small and a little high up on the shirt.

Second attempt after several adjustments:

And here it is on on a person for scale and location:

... I think that design looks a little small and a little high up on the shirt.

If I move it down, it looks weird as the bulk of the bee makes it seem too low then.  I played with it a bit, and settled on the wing being high.

Maybe I'll look for a different piece of art to use...  I love the design on paper, but on a shirt?  spacing is too nuanced.

Is your avatar pic something you came up with. I like it. I have some shirts that are a little retro/Nintendo’esque.

That looks MUCH better.  Now that it's larger, it's fine where it is on the shirt.  And you got rid of the stamping square!  :goodjob:

Oh my gosh, Micah, I was going to say the same thing the other day and then I forgot about it.  I was totally thinking that Zweefer's avatar would make a great shirt.  It's like our minds are connected or something. . . .  :o

I recognize that first one!  :)  I like that one a little less than the original, just because I think the original pose for the bee really looks like it's flying, which I think goes well with the pollination theme.  Also, this design appears to be missing antennae.  :-X

I'm really not partial to the second one, where the bee is top down.  Most bee designs look like this, and it's FAR less unique than the bee from the side.

that's why I went with first design.    antennae were too small to fit printable words on other one.

Yeah, that makes sense.  Maybe I'm picky, but I don't like it without antennae.  It just doesn't look right without them to me.

I agree with 15th.

Am I looking at the Montgomery Wards catalog?  Look at all these models!
