I have decided to implement an @ mention feature.
For those of you who do not use other forms of social media, how it works is this:
if you want to get the attention of a particular member for a post, simply use the @ sign and type that users name. That person will be notified via email (configurable in your profile under mentions; settings) or PM that they were tagged in a post.
example: If I wanted to tell the world how cool lazybkpr was for sponsoring the forum, and let him know I was praising him in this thread I would simply just mention him as
@LazyBkpr please be responsible with this new feature, as I want it to work.
