I just bought 6 honey bears of my favorite vetch honey, and it soo thick that there is no getting it out of the little pour hole in the yellow flip top lid. I finally put all the bears in a large pot with water and got the honey pretty hot to pour it into quart jars. Now I hear from a bee friend from a town 30 miles south, and he says the same, honey is soo thick it won't pour.
I'm thinking because of the major drought here on the west coast that the nectar from flowers in spring and summer is thicker, rendering the honey thicker?
