Selling Wax
« on: December 08, 2022, 10:12:55 pm »
Do any of you sell your first run (minimally filtered) wax?    my kids have a friend who wants to purchase wax for some Christmas projects, but I do not have any refined on hand right now (normally a winter task after claims are done).    If so, what do you charge for it?   I do not have time to filter it before she needs it...

It has been melted and strained the first time, so it is mostly okay - no honey or bee parts, but still some dirt etc on the bottom of each brick.

This thread may give you an idea of where to start your pricing.  It's a little dated so take that into account and remember the cost of everything has gone up. https://worldwidebeekeeping.com/forum/index.php?topic=2431.msg33402;topicseen#msg33402
