These are great options for those that need to provide buckets of water or other hazardous water sources for their bees. The mother of the manufacturer and creator of this device put a few of these in a silent auction recently. I picked one up there and put it in my washtub water feature I have on my back deck.  This will never break down over time. I think it would be easy to clean as well if it begins to collect algae.
