Logic! I think 'Friend' for sure! However, my wildlife biologist friend, says that when a bat is on the ground, or tub, something is wrong. Be very careful not to touch him/her.
Do you have a wildlife and game office near you? they may want to know if bat has white nose syndrome.
Perry- unfortunately, our bats here in california are starving to death from the drought. Our fish and game personnel is saying there isn't enough pollen or nectar for the bats to fatten up for winter, and there is also a marked shortage of mosquito's. It's getting pretty sorry here on the west coast for our little critters
