If you want a good little fiction book for teens that you might be trying to get interested in beekeeping or are already, try Sue Monk Kidd's THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES. It's been made into a move, but the book is much, much better.

Better Queens / Queen Rearing Simplified - Jay Smith

I am clandestinely reading those two books only in the reverse order from Robo post. For some reason I kind of like reading that 'older style' of writing.

I thought I might revive this thread to share a beeswax crafting book was just released and I purchased.
Beeswax Alchemy
by Petra Ahnert. Here is a link to the book on Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/Beeswax-Alchemy-Candles-Creams-Salves/dp/1592539793/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1430359391&sr=1-1&keywords=beeswax+alchemy
I just received my copy from Amazon and haven't had a chance to experiment yet.
Petra is also a beekeeper. The book contains great color pictures and how to's on everything from encaustic painting to healing salves to candles.
