If I had the know how/ equipment to make the cam and crank I'd attempt it. That is one of those projects that will take years to finish. it would be done in spurts of enthusiasm.. get a lot done, then dont do anything for a month or three, then get a lot done!!! then nothing for a while...
I WOULD have to go for the Nitromethane rather than diesel.. JUST, because Nitro Nito sounds so cool, and the smell would take me back to the cox engine Tether planes I flew as a kid.
Is it me or did this guy slide those pistons in with no rings in the grooves? Tolerances tight enough he didnt need them or? ? ?
