My ole Dane BamBam
« on: March 10, 2014, 10:19:16 pm »
Well its been a crazy 2 weeks. Bam Bam was playing out in the back yard and for reasons unknown Injured himself. He is paralyzed in the tail to the tip of his legs. Vet looked him over and said wasn't much hope after xrays found an old spine injury that decided to slip its disks. He was same ole dog Happy still got around sliding on his butt across floor with his rear legs out front. He is the same ole BamBAm I couldn't put my old friend down so now we have a dane in a wheel chair (Thanks to Ruff rolling in bozeman Montana) I'm not sure whose more excited me or old bambam. The chair came today put it on and for the first time in 2 weeks we walked and played together in the back yard and around the house. He adapted right to it and is doing great.

Awwwe Geeez! Such a great story! I am such a dog lover! My Katy, lab/chasapeake mix, is 9-10 years old. Still in good shape, but contemplating getting a Dane, or a Greyhound. How old is BamBam?

There is absolutely no questioning the size of your heart, or Bam Bam's!

My hat is off to you RR!

Sweet looking boy.  Glad he has a good 'dad'.  Many more years of lovin' left.

Well done, sire!

You can see that dog wasn't ready to leave yet.  Poor BamBam.  It's a happy ending or new chapter.
