For what it's worth, that just looks like the joint where the wing attaches, not a mite.
Nice golden bees though, real light coloured.

Is this a bought queen? if so could have been a bad clip job.

Mites are almost as big as the bee's compound eye.  Iv'e not had any queens get rugged like that.  She does looks pretty tired I agree.  But, maybe it won't matter.  I mean, she is going to fly anywhere soon.

Looks like her wing got damaged in handling or while in the queen cage. Looks more torn than worn

I've seen a couple wings like that.  Always figured it was rough sex, but the  damage during transit in a cage sounds plausible too.  ;)

the right wing looks sorta like a clip job like g said and the left wing damaged  as rat said, not sure barry?

What's her history?  It might help with possible reasons for the wing damage.

She looks like a virgin or just introduced queen to me.

I could come up with a ton of possibilities,  nucs are more of an 'unknown' than packages.

I just helped a student install two nucs from Jester's.   One had a blond Cordovan queen and the other was a dark Carniolan  :-X   

Both where nice nucs with beautiful brood patterns, BTW.
