That looks wonderful! It's a great feeling, isn't it? I hope you enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine. Unfortunately, I sold too much of mine and ran out. Keep that in mind if you do sell some.

the urge to sell it is great. First year I oversold too. Now we keep 120 lbs for family use and there's never any left over.

I hope, but they have really slowed down a lot. And when I have been putting stuff out for them to clean up, they go at it really quick, almost like there is a dearth, but I think it's too early for that yet. Since this will be my first fall and winter to go in with actual honey stores, I'm not sure how much to leave them. A couple of the hives have almost a full deep of honey. I would think that in this climate, that would be more than enough, but stay tuned.

My hive setup is ever changing here lately. I currently have six hives. 3 of these double deeps and double mediums that overwintered . one single deep and nuc from cutouts. And a nuc that I honestly can't remember how I got it.

Okay tbone, it's a fact that bee stings help memory. When you get a sting the brain cuts loose dopamine, seretonine, and endorphines. Those are happy brain chemicals which help sharpen the memory! One on the back of the shoulder or the thigh twice a week... You'll be sharp as a tack

Then I am beyond hope. I get stung a few times while working the bees and it doesn't help the memory one bit. a couple of hours I can't remember how many sting I received and worse yet where I got stung. when asked I generally have to answer on the hand some place, as I look for sting puncture spots.

Hi Apis, it is even tauted that when stung by a bee, that the vision gets sharper and instinct more ready to react. It's the fight or flight thing. If for a moment something has set off your alarm and harm may be near, you will have more perception to Run for your life
