Oregon Bumblebee Kill Update
« on: December 21, 2013, 11:53:31 am »
the company, collier arbor care, and four employees responsible for spraying the linden trees that killed thousands of bumblebees in a target parking lot were fined......big whoop on the fines, what gets me is that the company is appealing the decision and penalties? four separate incidents, incorrectly applied, had incomplete pesticide application records and also employed an applicator who didn't have the correct license.

less than 6k in fines, wow. They should have their license pulled for not following the laws, especially the unlicensed applicator.
Bees are bees and do as they please!

Sadly, it will take something on a human scale to get the attention it should.
