Good environmental news

We can stay stuck in a rut and argue about the science of climate change and environmental issues. Or we can take steps to improve things, no matter how small.  I wanted to put geothermal on my house (which with electric heat and as much insulation as the attic would hold was costing me $300 a month to heat) but Fort Worth doesn't allow it.  Except for heat pumps which are a couple of grand worth of not much improvement.

This town in Iowa did install geothermal, results at the link:

In a worst case scenario - say those 3% are right, if we reduce pollution and have cleaner air and lower utility bills, did it hurt us any?
