If you are having a bad day, week, month, your not alone.
I decided, I needed more plastic frames and called in an order to a well known supplier. It was one of those almost last minute orders, I'd have been much better off ordering a few weeks earlier
. The 29 of June; I called in and requested a quote. The 30 of June; I sent them a Bank Money Order, USPS express mail (Guaranteed Delivery), do you see where this is going? The person who e-mailed me the quote, claimed that when they received my personal check the order would be shipped and I would receive an e-mail concerning the details. July 1; USPS tracking claimed delivery, but no e-mail! I had stuffed my copy of the quote in an envelope with the money order, with no other information. I had put the envelope in the USPS cardboard mailer, without any information on it. 4th of July coming up, did they think it was something other than an order?
Sent them an e-mail requesting information (just to let them know it was in their mail box) July 2 Nothing! e-mailed them again requesting information. Called them! Closed from noon July 2 for the Holiday. :'(
Tuesday July 7, I get an e-mail; 'received you order' 'shipped Monday' and get a tracking number and a promised appointment call. Check the tracking number; estimated arrival July 13. July 13, 5:00 I call on the shipment. 'Sorry, everybody left for the day'. The operator left a message with the shipping clerk to call me. No Call! Wednesday July 15, called them again. They apologized and forecasted the arrival as Thursday the 16. I gave them my cell phone number for the appointment. NOTHING!
Called them AGAIN, Friday the 16. The house phone was a typo, "We have been trying to reach you". Then they rattle off my cell phone number and ask me if it's correct. They call me back on my cell phone - the frames will be there Monday the 20th.
When will I learn? If you look up Procrastination in the dictionary, you'll see my picture.
