To all males who want to live through Sunday

If you haven't yet, you better be getting that box of candy, flowers, or whatever. You will not survive if you forget.

PS. I got mine today.  Number 49, for the same angel

I am currently suffering mightily with my allergies, but I want to live past Monday.  (An old quote from a preacher friend, "everyone wants to go to Heaven and no one wants to die.)

We have two flower shops in our small town, so I ordered a pot plant from each of them.  Our freeze days are almost past for this winter, and I bought plants that can be moved outside near the swimming pool later in the spring.

Iddee, 49 is a good run.  My bride and I have been married 56 years.  I don't remember life without her.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy flowers from a monk.  Remember, only YOU can prevent florist friars.

Perry,

We also just celebrated our 20th, I thought that was a milestone but nothing compared to these guys.

My plan for Sunday morning is a nice breakfast in bed.

Does breakfast in be really sound exciting?  :)  I don't think I want to eat food and sleep in the same place.  :)

My wife ask me not to get her any candy for Valentine Day ;) Yah Right :D. She says she is watching what she eats and don't want to gain weight. If so why did she make a double batch of peanut clusters yesterday. ??? I bought a big box of Russel Stover chocolates about the first of Feb. to be save ;D. She doesn't care for (or likes 3/4 of there candy)and knowing that i'll get to eat 3/4 of them is a plus.. As i was going out to feed the cows, i seen she was making me a coconut cream pie (she didn't think i would notice  ;)) my favorite. The bad news is, our daughter just called and said they was coming over :o, i'll be lucky if i get a piece of it  it's there favorite also :\'( I swear that her and our son can smell it the 30 miles away where they live ??? This happens 90% of the time when there mom makes coconut cream pie. Jack
PS. haven't heard from our son and his family yet? Hope he's on call till tomorrow.

Wife isn't much of a sweet eater.

I bought her a new fountain pen, instead.

She's happy.

27 years and counting on the wife and I.  With kids all gone we are starting to enjoy the alone time dedicating it to helping others.  Now if we could just get some grandkids ;D
