Put the robbing screens on the night before, whew! Not as fierce an attempt as last year’s robbing but if I didn’t have the screens on I bet it would have escalated quickly!!!

I don't know whether that is robbing or confused bees returning to the hive and some one moved the door. if you find some clustered on the out side of the hive on the screen once the bees have stopped flying then they are returners that could not find the door. Bees adapt fairly quickly and most you loose are the older foragers so not a big loss. With the robber screens in place it will protect the hive from robbing so good to see them in place.

I put the robbing screens on at night so in the morning when they leave the hive, they are confronted with the new exit. Prior to the start of this video, there were numerous fights taking place.
