It is hard to think about wood stoves with temperatures hovering around 100.

I wonder if it would make for a good swarm trap?

This would call for a road trip to pick it up.  Shipping would be costly.

Took some pictures last night when I was down there.
It was built By Enamel & Heating Products Ltd Victoria BC.
It was built after 1929 as that was the year
Enamel & Heating Products bought Albion Stove Works of Victoria. Whether it was a Albion design that Enamel put their name on, or a Enamel & Heating model I could not find out on the Internet.
Shipping ? If I haled it accross the border and shipped it from Orville It would be at least $150 cheaper. A pallet shipped with in the states $50.00 Same pallet shipped from Canada $200.00

It went for $110 Can Dollar plus taxes and buyer premium which = close to 25% but then the American dollar is worth about 25% more than the Canadian dollar. Then shipping.

Oh how beautiful, Riverrat.  I like those cameos on the front.  Who was their advertising agent?  That ad is verrry interesting!

The stove is nice. It’s just hard to imagine needing one in this heat.   :-\

That is an interesting looking stove!  If you recondition it, I'd sure like to see pictures of it.  :)

It will be taken apart and fully restored back to working condition then put in the cast room for display.  Its hard to find these with the porcelain cameos still present.
B12 not sure who did the advertising for culter & Proctor but they sure had a strange way to advertise a stove.  Who thought there was gamers back in the 1870's :D

Very nice looking stove. in the 1870's the stove was the center piece in the room so they were designed and decorated as furniture.

Would you mind filling a gap in my education concerning shipments via Fastenol Stores?  Thanks!

If you have a large item needing shipped.  Fastenal usually will ship it for a very economical fee.  They have a network of their own trucks going to their stores.  If they have extra room they will deliver to the nearest store to you.  I have used them a couple times. They are about half the price of what a regular freight company charges
