Your Favorite Pics!
« on: February 14, 2014, 11:01:19 pm »
 Most of my pictures can be found on my website, but this one is one of my favorites. It was when I installed the bees in the new hives across the pond.  My father came to help and we had a good time. Notice how we are dressed?

  My Nephew showed up in his usual 80 degree attire. In the dead of winter he wears shorts and a winter coat!
   I know, no beard yet in this picture, no Perry jokes!   ;D

Awesome Pictures Glock. I love the Doby!!
   Mine and the wifes being Patriotic;

   My Wifes Black and Tan doby is the mother of mine.

Shes the third one from the left with her face hidden..   I wanted the Black and tan male to her left, but when I let them all out to run around, all she did was follow me around..  I ended up falling in love with her, and when the time came for the new owners to pick them up she stayed.

   I hope I can get Bee pics that close and clear. Amazing pictures!

This crazy bear got his comeuppens  :yes: after eating 5 hives, chasing after neighbors and Children on forest roads . After a swim of 10 km out in the sea to a small Island they finally feed him some lead  :D

I wonder where the cat went. Has anybody seen her?

Oh, here she is.

She's not spoiled, she's just "coddled".

My wife thought it was wonderful when  bear started getting into our garbage, she watched him a couple times.. then he started getting into the horse grain, then he tore the bird feeders apart, THEN he tore the chicken wire open, ripped the boards off the side of the shed and ate 4 of the six chickens...
   Once they figure something out only TERROR or death will stop it from getting worse. I am all for scaring the poo clear out of them and running them off, but am not convinced it will make them stay AWAY from people.

   Tha Calico cat! I wondered where it got off to after all them stories were written about her!  I think younger cats are hilarious to watch. My wife really likes her cat, and it IS a really dog like cat, begging to be petted and wanting to be in your lap constantly...   but its STILL a cat..  When she wanted the cat I put my foot down, told her there was NO WAY!!!!!  yeah we have a cat...
   The one thing I do refuse to do is...  ANYTHING related to it.. cleaning the litter box or even feeding it, AND the litter box stays out in the garage..    The more I try to keep it away from me the more it struggles to get near me..  I hate the thing, but when we come home, it runs to ME, rubs my leg...  It WAS always jumping in my lap, and I ws always pushing it off.. then one day, I sat down and put my Pizza in my lap, and guess who jumped on my lap???  yeah.. the cat ALMOST DIED. I had its scrawny neck in my hands.. the only thing that saved it was the look of sheer terror in my wifes eyes..   Surprisingly... that seemed to cure the cat of wanting in my lap.. so we get along fairly well now.    ;)

I would love to have another Doberman!  It has been years since I had one.  I will have to dig out some old pictures of them...

Nice thread and pics!  One of my favorites from this fall was when the children visited my bee yard for a field trip.
