Watercolor painting gift
« on: October 09, 2022, 08:46:31 pm »
My sister-in-law gifted me this sweet matted watercolor painting.  I already know where I am going to hang it.  I am assuming that it was done by a local artist.   The name on the back is "Hives on Diagonal Trail" but I can't see the artist's name.

Very cool!   Is there a Diagonal Trail near you?

Love the autumn feel with the hives warming up on a cool morning. Is the painting much bigger than the inside cut of the mat? Maybe you can discover the artists name  :)

That's beautiful!
I come from under the hill, and under the hills and over the hills my paths led.  And through the air, I am she that walks unseen.

Zweefer, I never heard of a Diagonal Trail before.   Out of curiosity I Googled Diagonal Trail and there is one in Minneapolis.  Maybe it's not from a local artist?
Jen, the whole picture and matting are sealed in plastic.  I thought I would wait to remove.  When I get a frame I'll remove it then.
