Well, in the middle of a hurricane force snowstorm it actually arrived.
I have been looking for a decent and affordable way to uncap honey frames and I finally think I found it. I was looking at one of those Kelly's vibrating jiggle knives for $535, but when the price jumped to $628 in the new year I gave it up. While searching and prowling around, I came across a google conversation about them. I got in contact with someone who had one and he said he wasn't using it anymore. He offered it to me for $100!

It was in Missouri and I knew shipping would be a killer, but at that price I had to do it. Well, turns out when he took it to be shipped (UPS) they wanted it re-packaged in
their box, and the shipping was $100 more than the original quote. He felt bad about it so shipped it anyways and told me I could have it for $50 and we would split the extra shipping cost!
Don't ever let anyone tell you that beekeeper's aren't generous to a fault.
Well, like I said today it arrived and the only fly in the ointment was a COD charge for taxes and brokerage fees of $60. I opened it up and am happy to report there is no damage at all and I have solved one of the last pieces of my extracting room puzzle.
My "Thanks" go out to Grant Gillard (author of 25hives) of Missouri, for taking the time to give me such a good deal. I will at some time try and pay it forward.
